Is there a way to edit a result set coming from a custom query?

So I do a 'single' SQL query like select * from table a, table b where = b.extid. When I try to edit the result I get "table is read-only. unresolved table reference'.

I understand the limitation is probably because I'm running a custom SQL but I'm wondering if there is a way to workaround this and make it editable? I tried adding PK and FKs to the resultset but with no luck.

Hello, is this gonna become a feature? I've read already this issue's thread:

And found out that some Jetbrains developer himself is practically telling people that feature "is too insecure for startups", a reason that clearly exceedes a developer responsibility.

I find insulting that a dev (like in that thread) uses, to avoid the development of a feature, a reason that's not for him to consider.

Is this thing (editable resultsets) gonna become a feature some day, or do I have to migrate from using Datagrip because of not being up to par with people's needs?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Noctumsempra

We are relying on the statistics and the feedback we are receiving from our customers before making a decision to implement a new feature. So I can assure you, it has nothing to do with a personal decision.

At the moment, there are no plans to implement this feature into the product.
