IDE unusable after copying directory (containing node_modules)

Hi,

I copied an external folder to my project and instead of copying the folder then indexing in the background as usual, PhpStorm started showing the indexing popup which made the IDE unusable for a minute or two

I recorded the behavior here

https://youtu.be/K4GRM2LobH0

Please tell me if you need more info to reproduce

The folder I copied was a folder containing several node_modules folders

Cheers

How exactly did you copy the folder -- by using IDE interface or apart of it (within OS)?

I copied it from explorer to the IDE

If it's reproducible with all custom plugins disabled (Settings | Plugins | Installed | Downloaded), please submit an issue to our issue tracker attaching the logs (Help | Compress Logs) and also, if possible, a project we can use to reproduce the issue. Unless, of course, it happens for any node_modules packages. Thank you!
