Search results hides file extensions when using File Mask Follow

When I do Find in Path, if I do not have File mask checked, the list of search results includes the extension on the file names of matches.  However, if I check File mask, the extensions are hidden, even if I have multiple extensions listed.  Who thought this was a good idea?

Please show extensions always.
