Dragging image into HTML doesn't create link

Hi,
I am having a problem with the IDE - I created a directory for images in my project, it is visible in the project window, yet when I drag them into the HTML file, intellij just opens them as new tabs and doesn't create link. When I alternatively start manually inputting the <img> tag, it doesn't recognize the path. Either way - the result is that it doesn't display the image.
Any ideas what's not right?

Could you please provide screenshots of what the folder with images looks like in the project view and of how you indicate the path in the tag?
Also, what IDE version do you use?
I tried with Pycharm and the result is the same like with Intellij:
Is it Community version?
Pycharm is the community version and Intellij is the pro version
It doesn't work in the community edition by design. Please provide here the information (a screenshot) on your IDEA version from 'Help > About` menu.
