Github integration Follow
I fill in the token for the github repo to sync my config, but it doesn't save the token. On every new sync I need to reenter the github token, why?

looks similar to https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-222414. Please, attach idea.log (Help | Show Logs in ...) to this ticket and watch it for further updates.
I don't know if this has been solved but for me the integrated GPG and github token thing was still broken as of April 2021. So my fix was to go in and setup an rsa key between each of my computers and my github, now it works flawlessly.
