default keymaps for multi-platform developers
I'm currently switching between macOS and Linux (Mint), and searching for a default keymap that makes that less painful. Right now, developing on my Linux desktop feels like when I switched from Qwerty to Dvorak 20 years ago - I have to stop and think "what's the shortcut" for nearly every task. I'm posting in hopes that I'm not the only one using this pair of OSes - there's got to be a better solution.
Several years ago, I was developing using OS X and Windows (work vs home), and there were a pair of default keymaps that minimized the differences when switching between that pair of operating systems. IIRC, at the time, there were 2 default options for Mac users - one that was more Mac-native, and a second that was targeted at people in my situation - it seemed to be basically the Windows map, with Cmd used in place of Ctrl, and a few tweaks where that would cause conflicts with OS-level defaults (quick doc became F1 instead of Cmd-Q, for instance). Does "IntelliJ Classic (macOS)" fit that description?

Hello,
There is related request on YouTrack: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEABKL-6885
There are no similar keymaps for Windows and Mac (even with Ctrl switched with Cmd).
