how to disable IDE sync settings?

File > IDE Settings Sync > Disable Sync:

That's strange, I don't have an IDE Settings Sync submenu.

Please go to Preferences | Plugins > Installed tab, find and disable the IDE Settings Sync plugin. Does it help?

I have both plugins IDE Settings Sync and Settings Repository enabled but I don´t see any "Sync Settings" stuff under file anymore, not even the "Settings Repository", "Import Settings", "Export Settings" menu points.

In the right bottom corner of the IDE theres an icon saying "Failed to Sync IDE Settings. Click to sync" - when I click on that button nothing happens

@Marianklueh, please click on that button again and after that send the idea.log file (Help | Show Log in ...) to clion-support at jetbrains.com. Note that logs might contain private user's information (like file paths and names).
