Export selective scala configuration into a git settings file

I don't necessarily want to commit an entire intellij project configuration file - similar to how you can export Run configurations, is there any way I can enable the "Use project home as compile server working directory".  Making sure new devs check this seems to be a pain in the butt, as its easily forgotten.
