PhpStorm 2019.3 favorites sort order

I just upgraded to PhpStorm 2019.3 and the sort order of my favorites sidebar changed - previously it sorted items alphabetically, but directories first, then files, now it sorts alphabetically with directories and files mixed.

How do I revert to sorting directories first?

Looks like a new bug: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-227802. Let's see what corresponding team would advise there.
