Navigate > File is unable to find existing files

I have been an IntelliJ IDEA/WebStorm user for many years, but I never faced this silly issue until the latest upgrade:

Navigate > File is locating some but not all *.ts/*tsx files in a TypeScript/Lerna project by name.

I tried to run Invalidate Cache & Restart, delete .idea folder, import project again, create a new project, but no luck. Is it a known issue?

Due to a company security restrictions, at the moment unable to upgrade to the latest available IntelliJ IDEA version.
