Python console on new release Intellij (2019.3) doesn't restart

Answered

Hi,

after upgrading to the last release, my python console lost the ability to restart. The button has no effect, doesn't do anything. The stop button works, however it cannot be started again. The only workaround is to close the tab and open it again. That's annoying. Anyone else with such problem? 2019.2 release was working fine, this happened after the upgrade

Hello!

Does it happen with any code? Or a specific one?

Please upload your logs folder zipped from ***Help | Compress Logs and Show in…***  to the FTP

https://uploads.services.jetbrains.com/   and please let me know the filename.

Hello,

Unfortunately, I could not reproduce the issue.

Please try:

1. disable all custom plugins

2. start IDE with default settings https://www.jetbrains.com/help/idea/configuring-project-and-ide-settings.html#restore-defaults

I have the same issue on macOS Catalina, there were no problems before the upgrade. Disabling all custom plugins and starting with default settings unfortunately did not help
