Keyboard remapping on IntelliJ MacOS
Answered
I use intelliJ on a Mac although I'm more used to windows. So I used the MacOS system preferences to swap cmd and ctrl to use hotkeys in a more windows like manner (ie, I copy with ctrl+c instead of cmd+c). For a while everything was great and I could use the hotkeys I prefer, in both intelliJ and other applications.
However, having gotten back to work after the christmas break, I find that while everything else on MacOS still uses my remapped keys, intelliJ has somehow switched itself back (so if I am copying text in intelliJ, I need to use cmd+c).
How did this happen, and how can I make intelliJ use my preferred hotkeys?

You can use Windows keymap under Settings | Keymap.

You can also check how IntelliJ IDEA see you shortcuts in "Fins shortcut" popup:
