Help, messed up my permissions!

Using Linux (as newbie) , I reset my home permissions -R, I know maybe I should wipe Debian, but I'm trying to recover it.

The only thing I seem to be having trouble with is Phpstorm won't launch a browser also won't break.

I'm guessing its permissions.

What should the permissions be ?

Is a reinstall easier? Is there a simple reinstall/repair with 'Keep all old settings'?

Just reset the permissions recursively on PhpStorm installation and on ~/.PhpStorm<your_version> folder.

Can't tell if it's easier to reinstall anything without taking a look at errors

Thanks, I just reinstalled chrome + ran the 755 -R on Phpstorm and it seems to be back working...
