Console buffer is too slow. How to optimize? Follow
Answered
Hi!
The last stable Ultimate is in use. I need rather large console buffer, but not too large :) I have set it about 64MB. It results in infinite IDE freezing. I have plenty of RAM, and at the moment have set 6GB for mx in VM options. Are there other tuning possibilities to make console buffer be both large and working?

Hello Andrew,
Please report an issue on YouTrack (https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/IDEA) attaching logs folder zipped (https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/207241085-Locating-IDE-log-files) after restarting IDE and reproducing the issue.
Yaroslav Bedrov , hi!
The thing is I can not share log files. So the question is about possible configuration optimization.
BTW even with 8MB buffer size there are rather noticeable periods of freezing.
Andrew,
Sorry for the delay! It's hard to say how to optimize it without issue logs. Do you use any custom plugins (e.g. GrepConsole)?
