2019.3.3 Pycharm often getting not responding, occupying GPU 1000%+ on 2019 16inch Macbook Pro Follow
My 2019 16inch Macbook Pro has version 10.15.3 macOS Catalina.
These days, for the Pycharm 2019.3.3 professional version, the machine often suddenly getting super hot CPU temperature goes up to 90 Celsius degree. This happens usually when I have Pycharm opened and switched to Google Chrome for searching something, and just few minutes after, Pycharm starts eating the CPU resources up to 1000+%.

Hello,
What kind of project you are working on? Did you notice any UI lag?
Could you please collect logs as described here https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/207241235-Reporting-performance-problems and upload it to the FTP
https://uploads.services.jetbrains.com/ . Please let me know the filename.
I have experienced the exact same problem using Pycharm 2020.1 and MacOS 10.15.4. It consistently goes not responding and eats up all the CPU resources. Please advise.
I recommend reporting a performance issue to https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues while providing the data outlined in https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/207241235-Reporting-performance-problems
