On start up, RubyMine auto generate .rakeTasks files. How do I stop this from happening?

Answered

Specs: RubyMine 2019.3.3

Every single time I start up RubyMine, I will get messages about the rake tasks and .rakeTasks files being auto generated. How do I prevent this from happening? It's really annoying

Hello Illiany,

just to be sure, could you please check how it goes in RubyMine 2020.1 EAP? Does the same happen there?

Hi Olga, I downloaded as you suggested, on startup the same files are still being generated! This is super annoying. What else can I do?

Also tried an older version (released Aug 2019) and the same thing happened. I'm close to giving up using RubyMine. Surely there a fix for this.

I managed to reproduce the problem in case of Rails engines, so could you please add your vote and follow the issue

Unfortunately at the moment there's no workaround but we'll investigate it.
