With remote interpreter: definitions point to temporary file locations

I have configured a remote python interpreter in PyCharm Professional (2019.3.3), which works fine.

When debugging a project and pausing it at a breakpoint, it will pause at the correct file.

However, when doing ctr+left click on a method in my project, it will take me to a file in a temporary directory:

...\.PyCharm2019.3\system\remote_sources\-1792825122\-278617967\...

Is it possible to configure PyCharm in a way, so that I can navigate through my project files rather than the temporary ones?

Hello,

I am wondering what scope is set? https://www.jetbrains.com/help/pycharm/scope.html

If you have any custom one created that includes unnecessary paths? https://www.jetbrains.com/help/pycharm/configuring-scopes-and-file-colors.html

Thanks for your comment. I did not define any scopes.
