PyCharmEdu - PyCheckio

Hello everyone,

I'm really enjoying my time solving tasks on pycheckio (pycheckio course), thanks to the integration. I would like to know if there's any way to update my current project with newly added tasks. I was trying to find such an option, but so far without any luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Hello,

My name is Ilnur, and I am an engineer in the Educational Products team in JetBrains.

To update the course it is enough to click "Check" in any task.

If this doesn't help, please try to joining Py Checkio from Learn | Browse courses anew.

Please let me know if this helps.

Good day,

I've checked one of the tasks and indeed it is like you have said - it tries to update the course. I think my issue is mostly connected to timeouts occurring.

I do get a warning: "Failed to update course - please check your connection and try again". I'm pretty sure that the request simply timeouts - last time I've checked it takes a good 60-80s for https://py.checkio.org/api/user-missions/?token=XXXXXXXXX to complete. (I have solved more than 95% of all tasks - that's why it takes so long). I can confirm that this issue does not exist at all when creating a new account and solving a few of starting tasks. I had the same issue when trying to download the course.

Hi,

Thank you for providing these details.

For further investigation, I've raised an issue on YouTrack: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/EDU-3138.

Please collect the IDE logs as described here and submit them to the YouTrack issue mentioned above.

Thank you in advance!
