New -> HTML File: template shows immediate error on <!DOCTYPE

Simply went to New -> HTML File in my project tree and this is the result.
Cannot disable the "Unexpected token" error on <!DOCTYPE html>
What's missing from my setup? Shouldn't the built-in template validate out of the box?

I couldn't reproduce the issue on my side. What project type do you use? Is it possible to share idea.log ("Help | Show log in...") after restarting IDE and reproducing the issue?
