Pycharm and Numpy Import

So I have installed the numpy package, but I cannot get to import it into my files to use. What am I doing wrong?

Hello,

I am wondering how you installed the package? Did you follow this guide https://www.jetbrains.com/help/pycharm/installing-uninstalling-and-upgrading-packages.html

So I went through File -> Preferences for New Projects, then hit "+" and searched up numpy to download. Was this wrong? This is what it says I have for packages now

Yes, this looks OK.

Please follow this troubleshooting guide https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010202240 and provide me with results as described in "Reporting to PyCharm issue tracker" part.

1) I have run some of the commands, but I don't think I am doing them correctly.

3) I don't know how to import numpy in the system terminal.

4) I can't find the idea.log file; when I hit help and type in "Show Log In" nothing pops up.
