upgrade does not update the windows menus to contain the version.

I have upgraded IDEA several times. Here is the version I have now
IntelliJ IDEA 2020.1.1 (Ultimate Edition)
Build #IU-201.7223.91, built on April 29, 2020
It never updates the menu entry:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\JetBrains\IntelliJ IDEA 2019.3.3

Hello,
Don't you uninstall previous version during installation? I just tried clean updated from 2019.3.5 to 2020.1.1 and it works fine.
no, I click on the update link to start the update. uninstall should really not be needed. let the upgrade process take care of the Windows menu entries.
