keyboard shortcut keys stop working intermittently if all diff windows are closed

If I start viewing diff across various files and close all the diff windows, then my all keyboard shortcuts stop working. The only way to make them start working is by again opening a diff window and keeping it open.

Are you asking for video recording? Also, how do i show keyboard keys being pressed and not being responsive during this recording?

Yes, it would help to recreate the problem. It's fine to just stop the recording at the point when the keyboard stops responding.
