Intellij Not launching

Any ideas that I could try would be greatly appreciated. 

Intellij seems to open for half a second then closes

To speed up the problem resolution please report it directly to JetBrains support team via Submit Request form and attach additional information. (e.g logs folder, error stacktrace, screenshot, etc...)

Unfortunately, it is hard to tell what is going on with the IDE without further details, because it may depend on each particular case.

As a general solution you can try to perform the following steps:

• Remove/rename all IDE directories according to https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/206544519-Directories-used-by-the-IDE-to-store-settings-caches-plugins-and-logs.
• Download the latest available version from our website into an empty directory.
