Unable to update to 2020.1.4

I'm on IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate 2020.1.2. When I do the update to 2020.1.4, the download and install goes through fine without any errors. But when I restart, the version is still shown as 2020.1.2. And I'm again asked to update to the new version. How do I fix this?

OS: macOS Catalina 10.15.6

Device: MacBook Pro 15 inch, 2018 model

Hardware Configuration: 2.2GHz 6 core i7, 16GB RAM, 4GB Radeon Pro 555X Graphics card and 512GB SSD.

Hi Andrey,

I am unable to share the complete logs due to security and privacy concerns (this is my work laptop). I tried to anonymise the data, but it was too much work. So I decided to go with cleaning the logs directory of IDEA, removing all work related projects from IDEA and going through the update process. But surprisingly this time the update went through. Although I cannot share the specifics, here are some information about my setup.

Number of projects: ~20

Project Types: Java/SpringBoot, Go, Flutter/Dart, Python

During the update, there were no plugins that required an update. 

Now that I'm no longer facing the problem, please close this issue/mark it as resolved.

I am also facing the same issue.After retrying multiple times, it is not updating to 2020.1.4 version. Here is the upload ID for the log file.

As a workaround please download latest version from https://www.jetbrains.com/idea/download/ or https://www.jetbrains.com/idea/download/other.html
