Cannot commit changes

Hi,

I'm trying to commit my changes but it doesn't work, the files are processed but then nothing happens

Hi. Thanks for the logs & video. Try to disable "Synchronize IDE Settings with composer.json" checkbox at File | Settings | Languages & Frameworks | PHP | Composer & check if it helps.

Hi,

Same issue here. It started after upgrading PhpStorm from 2018.3 to 2020.2. Disabling composer.json sync does not help unfortunately.

FYI it seems I can't reproduce it with a fresh project. I'll try with an existing one.

Maybe it's because I've reloaded the IDE after changing the "composer.json sync" setting?

Probably. You can still send us the Help > Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data archive to check if there were any git-related errors.

Thanks. Looks like this was caused by JS module, I've reported this as https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WEB-47341 to see if we can do anything about it.
