Pycharm takes forever at "Creating helpers dictionary"

Hello All

I'm trying to add a python interpreter by SSH into my server. The ssh session can be established without problem in terminal. When trying to login the SSH server with the same credential, the pycharm freeze at this screen for a long time with no response of failure or success.

The trusted key has been deleted.

I'm running out of solutions. Please help.

please add the following lines to **Help | Diagnostic Tools | Debug Log Settings...**:

```
#com.intellij.ssh
#com.jetbrains.plugins.webDeployment
```

(keep the # character)

Then reproduce the issue and provide Logs from **Help | Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data**

Thank you, the log says "authentication failed" , what type of authentication do you use? Are you able to ssh into the remote host from system terminal?

Yes I can ssh into the terminal and also add the SSH configuration. The freeze happened in the process of adding the python interpreter.

Thank you.

Sorry for the delayed reply. Let's continue in the issue I created for this: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/PY-44650

Please post a comment there with the following information:

1. "~/.ssh/config" file if you have one

2. Verbose connection log using "ssh -v <user:host>" from the terminal.
