Installing type packages Follow
Hello,
Many times, I got the "Installing type packages" task in the taskbar and most times it halts other more important tasks
How can I disable it?
I disabled this option but it didn't do anything

Do you have any third-party plugins installed? Codota plugin (https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/7638-codota), for example, tries to load type packages from NPM for packages listed in your project
Yes, I have Codota installed, thank you for pointing it out. I will try without it to see if the issue goes away
