How to Add a Line Between Two Existing Lines?

According to the manual, by holding down the Shift key and pressing the Enter key, Pycharm should add a new line. However, it doesn't work for me. I just want to simply add a new line, in between two existing lines. How can I do this?!

What is your OS? What Keymap do you use? Are there any custom plugins installed?
