Icons from jetbrains.design/intellij/resources/icons_list for light and dark mode

Hello,

I need to use a few icons from https://jetbrains.design/intellij/resources/icons_list/. On this page, I see light and dark mode. This light or dark mode does it affect the icon? Icon colors? Or I can use one icon for light and dark mode?

I tried to download the icon by different modes and compare it, but don't see any difference.
