Cannot update the Executable path of an external editor for working with images.

I'm using webstorm 2020.2.3

Whenever i try to open an image using the "Jump to external editor" Tool i get a dialog stating:

If i click the ok button then the images window dialog appears. So that's where supposedly i could update the editor's path to photoshop 2021 for working with images.


After updating the Executable path to the correct photoshop 2021 executable path, i will click ok and it will close the window, but the Executable path will NOT be updated. The error will repeat again, with the old executable path showing again as if nothing was changed. 

I tried to find the same window dialog (i think it's called the IMAGES dialog) within the webstorm preferences, cause i figured if i updated it there (out of the error flow) maybe it will work and accept the update on the executable path, but i cant even find my way to open that images dialog other than trying to open an image. I have used the search within webstorm trying keywords such as images or external tools but i cant find that window. Anyway, i can access the window through the error flow, but the path cant be updated.

Any ideas?
