Pycharm stuck on tip of the day Permanently deleted user Created November 26, 2020 16:30 Running Pycharm 2020.3 RC on ubuntu 20 - I open the app & can't close tip of the day - any ideas?

You have VM option set `-XX:MaxMetaspaceSize=240m`, which shouldn't be there. Please try removing it.

In fact you should revert VM options to default. If your <IDE_HOME>/bin/pycharm.vmoptions file was modified, it's best to do a clean resinstall.
Got you. An out of memory dialog popped up, and I set some higher values for MaxMetaspaceSize & a couple of others, via your UI. Will check tomorrow
