Tests fail to run on macOS Big Sur and 2020.3

After a recent goland 2020.3 upgrade and macOS upgrade to Big Sur 11.0.1 tests fail to run from IDE with the following error:

/usr/local/opt/go/libexec/bin/go tool test2json -t /private/var/folders/qx/fnf2fzqj173g63s_krpwpbn80000gn/T/___2TestSomething_in_github_com_my_project -test.v -test.run ^\QTestSomething\E$
test2json: fork/exec /private/var/folders/qx/fnf2fzqj173g63s_krpwpbn80000gn/T/___2TestSomething_in_github_com_my_project: exec format error
