How to auto clear commit message after commit?

I am using the new non-modal commit interface. But I am wondering why the commit message remains in the text area after committing. I think that's unusual because others tools clear the text area after the commit. Sometimes I forget that the text area contains an old message. This leads to false commit messages.

I already enabled "Clear initial commit message" in Version Control > Commit but it does not help.
