Focus lost when Intellisense window opens as I code

macOS Big Sur

When I code, and the Intellisense popup comes up, it takes my focus away from the code, and I have to click with mouse to get back to coding. This is driving me crazy and screwing up my flow.

What can be done? Am I the only one experiencing this?
