Cant launch - stuck on "initial pop up screen" Follow
Hi,
I am not able to launch pycharm after 2020.3 update ...
This is what I only see - (been like that for last 30 mins ...) it poped for like a minute or two with small popup window saying migrating plugins and after that its just like in screenshot below
I have tried to kill it in processes, restarting pc ..classic stuff ... nothing is working .. any idea ?

Hmm right after submitting post ...it crossed my mind ...I am behind vpn and proxy which "silently failed" somewhere in background while trying to update plugins
Classic proxy stuff with connection timeout ...switching to direct internet connection helped
I guess this one can be closed or whatever you do with it :)
suggestion: add notification on timeout errors during initial app load
