I have version 2020.3.2 and when I try to create a folder, the module gets the error "Failed to create directory" C: \ Program Files \ JetBrains \ java ""

Most probably, there is a permission issue. Why do you need to create a folder under Program files?
It is better to use user's directories to store project files.
