Different module icons

I have always wondered why some of the icons appear different in my intelliJ, some of them appear "filled" while others just contain the outline of the icon, does anybody why this happens?

It looks like you are using a third-party plugin that changes the standard UI. I would recommend asking the plugin developer directly about it.
To find the developer, open 'Settings/Preferences | Plugins | Installed', select the plugin, and click 'Plugin homepage'. At the bottom, you will see the contacts.
