Color coding in editor

Is there a quick way to turn off all color coding of text in the editor?

I have vision problems and some colors are hard to see or just bothersome. I just want a white or gray background with dark characters.

There is no "Disable color coding" button, however you can create your own editor color theme and configure all needed colors inside:

Try "High contrast" editor theme: https://i.imgur.com/XCPdt3b.png 
It is designed to make code more visible.

Thanks. I will create a theme.

I looked at high  contrast. I would like it if the colors were reversed, elsewise too hard on the eyes.
