Google Protocl Editor toasted PyCharm
I was running Pycharm 2020.3 and intalled the Google Protocol Editor. After which it became untable and upon exiting and restaring, Pycharm will fail to start. It will dump a ton of errors on the consol about Google Protocol Editor failures. I cannot reinstall it. Even removing the prefrences in .config/JetBrains and installing a new PyCharm 2020.3 or Pycharm20201.1 both will fail when run agin, it seem to install this plugin now no matter what. I cannot figure out how to get it not to.
I can restore a old .config/JetBrains/PyCharm-2020.3 directory from before and run pycharm2020.3, but I cannot upgrade to pycharm20201.1 as it immediately installed Google Protocal Editor. It does not seem to be seeding it's config with my previos version.
How do I get PyCharn to stop trying to install Google Protocal Editor so I can use the IDE?

Hello,
I am wondering if you deleted the correct folder, because it contains information about custom plugins for sure. Please see the location here https://www.jetbrains.com/help/pycharm/directories-used-by-the-ide-to-store-settings-caches-plugins-and-logs.html#plugins-directory
