DataGrip attempts to connect to OKX cryptocurrency exchange domain
Problem description:
I noticed that JetBrains DataGrip attempted to establish a network connection to okx.com, specifically wallet.okx.com.
This was unexpected to me, because I could not immediately understand why a database IDE would need to contact this domain.
According to my network monitoring tool, the connection attempt was made by DataGrip and was denied. The connection details shown are:
Hostname: wallet.okx.com
IP address: 18.239.18.99
TCP port: 443
Protocol: TCP
DataGrip was installed through JetBrains Toolbox. The only custom plugin installed is:
Darcula Pitch Black
https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/14059-darcula-pitch-black
I did not manually enter or use this domain, or any similar cryptocurrency exchange/wallet-related addresses, in database connection settings, SQL queries, project files, plugins, or anywhere else inside DataGrip.
Could someone help me understand why DataGrip might try to access okx.com / wallet.okx.com? Is this expected behavior, or could it be caused by something in the environment, browser integration, plugins, documentation/tooltips, telemetry, or another indirect request?
