PyCharm 2026.1.2 is a hot mess

I don't even know where to start with submitting issues so i'm starting here first.  

I'm on 2026.1.2 for ARM64 and as soon as I upgraded, so many things broke.  

• selecting a WSL interpreter that I know has packages installed just shows “Nothing to show”
• startup takes so much longer
• debugging takes forever to start
• there's a browser preview on the right side that I don't want and can't close
• “waiting for process detach” rarely finishes and I have to manually go kill a process
• starting or restarting a run configuration takes literally a minute or more, and there's no option to kill the process

Invalidating caches fixes nothing.

I can't be the only one having these issues, but I'm not finding any results when I search?
