Slow and lagging after last update

Hi guys,

I've been using phpStorm for a few years now. There are updates that make the program really slow and laggy. I'm on version 2026.1.4.
Is there way to optimise it and make it faster please? I'd love to follow any steps towards optimisation and performance.
