DataGrip 2026.2 - Cannot speed search in database explorer after opening without clicking in it first

Prior to the DataGrip 2026.2 update, I could open the database explorer with a keyboard shortcut (Alt+1) and immediately start typing to speed search the database objects within that menu.

Now, I also need to click into the list somewhere before it'll allow either typing or the Ctrl+F shortcut to open speed search. Using Tab also seems to work as it switches focus from the scrollable list itself to the contents of the scrollable list, which also then allows searching.

It seems like an odd design choice to me, but 95% of the time when I'm opening the database explorer it's to navigate somewhere else with the speed search filter. Notably this behavior does not occur when opening the Files menu with a keyboard shortcut (Alt+2), speed search works immediately as expected.
