Settings Repository Github Token Replacement

PyCharm Professional 2021.1.3
I followed all the instructions for the settings repository setup in order to share my settings using GitHub. Unfortunately, however, I fatfingered my token and need to correct it, and I can't seem to find any instructions on how to do this.
If anyone could please provide some guidance on how to do this, I'd appreciate it.

Please go to Preferences | Appearance & Behavior | System Settings | Passwords and check where do you have password stored?
You need to go to the Windows Credential Manager/Keychain and reset password there and then retry Settings repository operation.
