How to safely upgrade from PhpStorm Intel to PhpStorm Silicon

Hello,

I'm trying to change my PHPStorm version to Apple Silicon

I downloaded the file and clicked on it, the installer then asked to copy the app in the Applications folder. I dragged it onto the folder and then it warned me that PHP Storm already exists

1. Does this mean Silicon is already installed (and I just don't know it)?

2. Or if I clicked Yes, it'll wipe out the Intel version along with all my projects and settings?

I don't want to lose anything? Is there a way to safely export?

No, it means that /Applications already contains an app called PhpStorm.

Configuration, caches, and projects are kept separately from the IDE installation, you can wipe out the Intel version and not worry about losing anything.
