Delete key not working

Hi there,

Please clarify what exactly you mean by "cannot delete"? Is it just the "Delete" key that has this issue? Or is it also does not work if you use "Delete" via context menu?

If it's keyboard only:

• Check your Keymap ("Settings | Keymap") -- try switching to a default one for your OS. Maybe your keymap does not have it assigned to that action for whatever reason.
• "Settings | Keymap" screen has a button (next to the local search field) that allows searching for actions by assigned shortcuts. Use it and see what actions will show up for the Delete key.

No solid ideas from me then. Your version is almost 4 years old...

Right now I may suggest: disable all custom (not bundled plugins), restart IDE and try again -- do you see any difference?

If none: use "Submit a Request" link at the top of this page (or "Help | Contact Support..." from PhpStorm) to contact PhpStorm Support where you can provide more private info (like your IDE logs etc ("Help | Show Log in Explorer")).
