I just downloaded intelliJ on my windows computer and on opening it, it requested reinstallation which i did. The reinstallation did not work but it it now asking me to "define a JAVA_HOME variable in Computer > System Properties > System Settings > Environment Variables." if i have a 64-bit JDK installed which i do have. All I am trying to say is that i dont understand what to do and i need help.

May you show the dialog the IDE displays?

Do you download it from https://www.jetbrains.com/idea/download/#section=windows
