502 Gateway Error - Intermittent - No Errors or Logs

I'm continuing to run into a problem with PHP Storm. I continue to receive a 502 Bad Gateway message and then PHP Storm is unresponsive. I then have to close the browser as well as the IDE and restart them.

This is happening intermittently and without an apparent or obvious reason. When this does happen I can usually restart and everything works exactly as it should. Sometimes I have to go through this restart cycle a few times but at the end it eventually works.

I'm using Windows 11, have Xampp running. There's no errors appearing in my code and unless there's a log file I'm not aware no logs being recorded. Xampp is running. I've searched extensively for a solution to this but all the results are either old, different operating systems, using composer (I'm not) or a flavor of PHP that I'm not. Again this is intermittent but today it's happened about a dozen times other days a few and some days it never happens.

Any ideas, guesses or direction would be greatly appreciated as this is a huge annoyance

Where are you seeing 502 error? Could you please attach a screenshot of the entire window & a screenshot of IDE when this happens?

Yeah next time it happens I will. It's displaying the 502 error in the browser and that's all it says. No errors in the console. Within PHP Storm nothing appears to even indicate an error occurred. However, if I close the browser and immediately restart from PHP Storm the browser just spins. Have to restart PHP Storm and close the browser.

Thanks. Please capture the URL that give 502 also, next time this happens.
