High Cpu usage

Hi,

I am using IntelliJ idea 2021.2 on Mac BigSur 11.6.1. 

Recently, as I open the app, the idea CPU usage gets very high and the application is extremely slow to use. I have tried re-installing the app but no success.

 

Any ideas on this?

As a general troubleshooting step, please disable all custom plugins: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/idea/managing-plugins.html#disable-plugin

If it does not help, capture CPU snapshot according to this article. For uploading, you can use https://uploads.jetbrains.com or any file sharing service.

I have disabled the installed plug-ins, but CPU usage still high.

Try RC version of IntelliJ IDEA: https://www.jetbrains.com/idea/nextversion/ where this should have been fixed. 

IF the issue is still here, share the same snapshot.
