Bookmark Navigation (RubyMine)

Answered

After updating to RubyMine 2021.3, I've noticed bookmark navigation jumping to different files instead of remaining in the same file and I believe this is new behavior.  It's not very obvious when it jumps to a different file so it takes a minute to realize I'm not in the file I thought I was editing.  It also takes longer to get to the intended bookmarked code and opens files with bookmarks that I already have open in a split view.

The behavior is the same whether or not split view is open.

Is this a feature or a bug?  If it's a feature, I'd like to be able to turn it off.

Thank you!

Hello Kim,

That's a known problem:

The fix is going to be available in 2021.3.1 Preview.
